DIY Essential Oil Glass Cleaner:
Keep windows and surfaces looking sparkling clean with this simple essential oil spray.
- 1 ½ cup white vinegar
- ½ cup water
- 8 x drops of lemon essential oil
Mix ingredients in a 500ml glass spray bottle and shake well. Spray onto glass surfaces and wipe with a paper towel or cloth.
DIY Essential Oil Air Freshener:
Freshen up your home without artificial fragrances using this natural remedy.
- Glass spray bottle filled with distilled water
- 15 drops essential oils (we recommend a mix of lemon, grapefruit and wild orange)
Mix ingredients together and shake well. Spray throughout the home as needed.
DIY Essential Oil Toilet Cleaner:
Just a couple of ingredients are required for this all-natural toilet cleaner!
- Baking soda
- Lemon oil
Simply sprinkle the baking soda and 2-3 drops of lemon oil into the toilet bowl and scrub as usual.
DIY Essential Oil Hand Sanitizer:
Antibacterial and antiviral oils can help you keep germs at bay, especially during the cold and flu season.
- Small glass bottle with cap or pump
- ¼ cup Aloe vera gel
- 1 tablespoon witch hazel
- 5 drops lemon oil
- 5 drops lavender oil
- 15 drops tea tree oil
Mix ingredients together and shake well before use.
DIY Essential Oil Mildew Spray:
Damp corners of your home can be prone to mildew, especially in poorly lit areas.
Create your own DIY mildew spray with:
- 5 x drops of Lemon essential oil
- 5 x drops of White Fir essential oil
- 30ml water
Simply mix essential oils with water and store in a small glass spray bottle. Spray on any areas with mildew to kill the growth of mould.
DIY Essential Oil Garbage Bin Deodoriser:
Dealing with smelly rubbish bins?
- 5 x drops of your chosen deodorising essential oil (refer to the list above!)
- 1 x tablespoon of baking powder
Combine the baking powder with the essential oil drops and sprinkle into your garbage bin to remove any lingering smells.
DIY Essential Oil Furniture Polish:
Spruce up your dining tables, cabinets and bedside tables with this simple essential oil furniture polish.
- 5 x drops of lemon essential oil or white Fir
Dab a dust cloth with a few drops of your chosen essential oil and gently polish your wooden furniture.
DIY Essential Oil Carpet Cleaner:
Give your dusty, dirty carpets some love with this natural essential oil carpet cleaner.
- 1 x cup of baking soda
- 20 x drops of lemon essential oil or cleansing blend
Mix baking soda with essential oil drops in a glass jar. Close jar tightly with lid, shake the mixture together and leave overnight. Once ready, sprinkle lightly over carpets and let sit for 15 minutes before vacuuming.
