*Detoxifying the body

*Relieving sore muscles

*Nourishing and moisturising skin

*Cleansing and minimising pores

*Fighting bacteria and neutralising odours

Just to name a few! A few of the most popular ways to use Himalayan salt sprays include facial toning, natural deodorizing, and even hair styling. These are the 3 recipes that we’ll share with you below!

DIY Facial toner spray using Himalayan salt:

Toner is an essential part of our everyday skincare routine, to remove all of the surface oils and dirt that can clog up our pores, as well as tighten and refresh our skin.

Himalayan salt is a natural astringent, meaning it causes the contraction of skin cells. This makes it the perfect ingredient for a DIY facial toner!

To make your own facial toner using Himalayan salt, simply fill a small spray bottle with:

*½ cup filtered water

*2 teaspoons fine Himalayan salt

*2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

*2-3 drops geranium oil, lavender oil or chamomile oil.

Keep the spray bottle handy at your bathroom sink and give yourself a spritz or apply with a cotton pad after cleansing each day!

DIY Natural deodorant using Himalayan salt:

Bad odour is predominantly caused by bacteria and germs. Himalayan salt is naturally antibacterial, which means it can help to absorb and neutralize the bad odour that occurs when this bacteria mixes with our body sweat.

To make your own natural deodorant using Himalayan salt, fill a spray bottle with:

*80 mls warm distilled water

*2 teaspoons fine Himalayan salt

Mix the contents together and once the water has cooled, add:

*30 mls witch hazel

*1 teaspoon baking soda

*10 drops lemon oil, citrus bliss oil or lavender oil

Simply spray the deodorant daily as required!

DIY Texturising hair spray using Himalayan salt:

Salt sprays are incredibly popular for hair styling due to their ability to add texture and volume. If you love the idea of beachy, wavy or tousled hair, this natural salt spray might be the perfect recipe for you!

To make your own Himalayan salt texturising hair spray, fill a spray bottle with:

*1 cup Himalayan salt

*½ cup Aloe Vera juice

*1.5 cups filtered water

*10 drops lavender oil, lemon oil or orange oil

Simply shake the spray before each use and spritz onto damp hair. Be sure to use your hands to scrunch the mixture into your hair after spraying, and allow it to dry for a tousled and textured look.
